“We were heading back to our hotel after visiting North Shore and (perhaps more importantly) Ted’s Bakery, when we decided to stop at Kaneohe Bay to stretch our legs and enjoy a walk on the beach. As I ducked under a branch this scene opened up and I knew I had to capture it. In that moment everything was so peaceful, and serene, and calm… almost frozen in time. Ten minutes later we were in the car driving through torrents of rain.”
