You have to drive the road to Hana (on the island of Maui, HI), or at least part of it, if you want to see this in person. I captured this image while on the Pipiwai Trail going toward Waimoku Falls at a point in the trail where it changes from the National Park Service built boardwalk to stone steps. I was lucky enough (sincerely) to pick a rainy day to do the drive and the hike, which meant that there were very few people on the trail other than myself and my family. If you ever have toe opportunity to go out to this National Park I would highly recommend it. Especially if you are adventurous enough to go on a rainy day when you may have very few people on the trail. I will never forget the experience of walking.
